The Bible is well written. Its events are fascinating and teach you a lot about the past. Everything in that book is said to be nonfiction (depending on who you ask) which makes it fascinating to read about. Of course, since its non fiction it’s very believable. However, some of the events are so breath taking it’s hard to imagine it actually occurred. Also, the characters are just like people nowadays. That makes them easy to relate to. Some however are what we all want to be. Jesus is perfect, never sinning. Moses is a hero and forever remembered. And there are many kings who are famous and rich. But the majority of characters are average people, who turn their life around with God’s help. The conflicts are extreme, which keeps the readers attention. I doubt you’ll ever read anything quite like this. Its events are unique, historical, and well described.
Overall, this book gets an A-. The historic events are written in detail and described to great extent. Not only is this book interesting, it’s also education and teaches you many good life philosophies. The only thing I don’t like is its length. This book is around 900 pages long, making so you won’t finish it off it one sitting. Also, the wording is kind of old fashioned, making some sentences difficult to understand. Other than that, this book is a great read and I recommend it to anyone, whether they're a fan of history or not.
